We would gladly recommend Melissa to anyone who might want to buy a house in La Canada. Melissa knows the area very well, and can tell a story about a good fraction of homes here. She is superbly responsive, and has been very accommodating to our scheduling constraints. She was respectful and professional with us as well as with numerous agents and sellers, and she knows and appreciates the value of trust. We were not the easiest of clients, with quirky and numerous requirements on the prospective homes. In this difficult market, it meant few choices and several disappointments as promising transactions fell through. However, Melissa was there with patience and persistence until the right home came about. We couldn’t find anything negative to say even if we tried.
Melissa is fabulous to work with in all senses. We met her at an open house and felt an immediate connection. She helped us find our current house and sell our previous townhouse and did an excellent job in both negotiations to make sure we got the best deal possible. Melissa is an expert negotiator and really helped to guide us through the process of which buyer to choose for our townhouse as we had multiple offers. She is great at looking at the details of homes and noticing potential issues a buyer might not normally spot. She made our home buying and selling experience so easy and enjoyable. Melissa was our agent for buying a house in the Brentwood area. We closed on Dec 29th, 2017! She is a great agent and advisor. She knows the area very well. Also, for this property, we had a few back-and-forths with the seller on price and inspections. She was extremely professional in understanding our concerns and resolving them with the seller. She respected our decision-making process while providing very useful input and feedback to us, without pushing us in any particular direction.
